Trainee scouts in the field for GUIDO

GUIDO now also has trainee scouts getting out and visiting school classes to promote interest in vocational training among school pupils.

In the first year the Regensburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce paid visits to 35 school classes together with the trainee scouts, providing around 600 pupils with information about training opportunities in the dual education and training system. August 2016 saw the start of the second year of the project with the training of new trainee scouts, with two trainees from GUIDO also taking part, Mr. Kessner for the vocation of industrial management assistant and Mr. Pritscher for that of industrial mechanic. Both are very pleased to have their first assignments, in which they will be seeking to promote interest among young people for their future careers and in GUIDO.
