Zero-defect strategy

One of the key aspects of the corporate philosophy at GUIDO is to manufacture as perfectly as possible in every respect. This is apparent throughout every one of the production processes. The operational organisational and process models are geared towards the highest possible quality in product creation.

The company motto “Quality comes before deadlines, deadlines come before costs” exemplifies the company philosophy – and this is even printed on posters in production. The following are just some of the tools used in the continuous improvement process: 8-D method, Ishikawa diagram, zero ppm strategy, Six Sigma and the Poka-Yoke model, in which no mistakes or defects are allowed.

The continuous improvement of all production processes is a permanent process in the GUIDO group. Resultant improvements are rigorously documented in process and design FMEA. This zero-defect strategy provides the basis for products which are better and of a higher quality, the ones which leave the GUIDO production buildings every day.
